About Fukase Forever
It’s Fukase’s 10th anniversary on 28 January 2026!! 🎉 As 10 happens to be X in Roman numerals (and Fukase just so happens to have a prominent X motif), it will be an extra special birthday and it will only happen once in forever. We’re hosting a zine and album collaboration to celebrate our past, present and future journeys with Fukase – we hope you can join us and be part of the project!
About Fukase
VOCALOID4 Library Fukase is a masculine voicebank voiced by Satoshi Fukase (from the band SEKAI NO OWARI) and developed/distributed by the YAMAHA Corporation alongside Lastrum Music Entertainment and TOKYO FANTASY Inc. Made for the voice synthesiser software VOCALOID4, he has 3 voicebanks named Normal, Soft and English, the former two are Japanese banks. Fukase was released on 28 January 2016, almost 10 years ago! To decide his design, a Pixiv contest was held with the comical theme of "What if SEKAI NO OWARI vocalist Fukase became a Vocaloid?". It ran from 4 to 31 August 2015 (less than a month?!), with mikuma being the winner. The current design is a modified version of mikuma's winning illustration. Fukase's license is notorious for requiring permission for commercial work. This is unlike many Vocaloids and voice synths yet despite this, Fukase is a popular Vocaloid and continues to have a strong and dedicated fanbase!

Structure of Project
The project focuses on creating a Fukase zine (for artists and other ) and an album (for producers)! The album will comprise of 1 song per producer and the zine will include art, text (writers, researchers, etc.) and lyric pages! While there are lots of cool projects to try, please only do what you can! The maximum number of roles we allow for this project is 3. This is done so that if someone wants to be in all three prominent roles simultaneously (artist, producer and a text page role), they can. Please account for real-life events and other commitments like school, university, work, etc. While projects like these are great, your health and well-being are way more important!

Theme of Project
Creating with Fukase! The zine and album will be designed with the colours red, black, white and gold in mind. However, participants can create works with whatever theme they like!

Fukase's License
The project is non-commercial and will make no profit – while we can ask the respective companies, it's non-profit purely so that everyone can easily access the full digital release! A physical release is being planned for contributors only and the money for production and delivery will be out of pocket from the admins. With that said, these are some things from Fukase’s licence that you must follow regarding this project.
Any art/song/work in this project must NOT be sold commercially or earn profit UNLESS creators of their own work are granted permission
Any art/song/work must NOT undermine Fukase (the Vocaloid and voice provider) and usage must NOT be against public order/morality
Any art/song/work must NOT be detrimental to third parties’ rights (this rule is mainly for us admins, third parties refer to manufacturers, services, etc.)
Any art/song/work must NOT cause misunderstandings (such as misinformation) with the rights holders’ official goods/products (this includes Fukase himself)
The TL;DR is that you can't make money off of work in this project without permission and to just be a cool human being 🙇 However!! Since we would like the zine/album to be for all audiences, NO NSFW/R18 topics are allowed. Swearing is alright, provided it's not too much. More mature topics are fine as long as it does not intend to glorify them. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask the admin team!
